St. Thomas is proud to announce that admissions coordinator Claudia Walker as our next Eagle of the Month.
This distinction established during the 2016-17 academic year is a special recognition of a member of the STH faculty or staff who has gone above and beyond the call of duty for the STH community.
Claudia (above, right, with administrative assistant Lisa Mumbach) is truly the face and voice of St. Thomas, a trusted first representative we all strive to be. She is a calm and steady presence allowing others to know that all is well, a valuable advocate of the school who truly believes in our motto of Teach Me Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge.
Claudia is the model of dedication, available early in the academic day as well as after hours and weekends assuring everything is running smoothly for any admissions related issues, knowledgeable in the admissions process and everything St. Thomas related. If she doesn’t have the immediate answer to a question, she is expedient in finding answers or referring people to the appropriate person.
Claudia is always pleasant, happy, helpful, objective and professional. She addresses everyone and everything with grace and humility.
We honor Claudia Walker for her endearing dedication, love, and commitment to St. Thomas.
Previously honored with Eagle of the Month were campus ministry director Marty Matulia, faculty member and head basketball coach John Kwok, director of operations Sergio Plata, faculty member and director of student activities Joe O’Brien and assistant dean of students Gail Calkins.
