Camp Aquinas

School Retreat
Retreats are an essential part of the St. Thomas experience. Every freshman, sophomore, junior and senior is required to partake in a mandatory overnight retreat provided by STH during the school year.
Walk-a-thon
Walk-a-thon is the annual student fundraiser for student activities and is a long-standing tradition for over 50 years. Students walk around the Buffalo Bayou near the school and conclude with an afternoon of food and games. Houses that have the highest participation earn points for their house.
School Masses
St. Thomas celebrates Holy Days of Obligation, as well as several other all-school masses throughout the academic year.
Fall Olympics
Fall Olympics is the annual mid semester fall break in which students take a break from class to engage in a day-long series of competitions ranging from sports to chess to video games; the entire campus transforms into an Olympic stadium. Houses compete for points in these various events and earn money to the charity of their choice.
Christmas Toy Drive
St. Thomas, with the help of faculty members, hosts a toy drive at Christmas time in support of DePelchin Children’s Center. In an effort to promote these efforts, St. Thomas has worked it out to be a competition, to see who can bring in the most items, among the Houses.
Round Up
Round Up is an annual event hosted by the St. Thomas community that raises funds, in which all proceeds go the St. Thomas tuition assistance. All students are required to participate by selling a certain number of quotas.
