On December 4, Caleb Kimble and Trace Langin (both ’25) committed to play their respective sports at the collegiate level. Langin will take his talents to the Johns Hopkins University football team while Kimble will remain close to home, playing Division I baseball at the University of Houston. The future Blue Jay and Cougar sat side-by-side, accompanied by family, friends, and coaches, in the Hall of Honor to declare the plan for their futures.
“Caleb is an outstanding two-sport athlete in basketball and baseball,” Athletic Director Mike Netzel said. “Quiet leader. Great teammate. Strives to be the best he can be in all areas of his life. He is still just scratching the surface of his potential as a baseball player.”
“Trace is an all-district level football player and state champion wrestler,” Netzel said. “Impeccable work ethic. Team leader. Outstanding student. He truly dove into everything that STH is about and not only has he grown, but he has made a lasting impact on our athletic program and school.”
